LS-25 Linear Stage

LS-25 Linear Stage

About the LS-25

The LS-25 Linear Microscope Stage is an ultra-compact precision positioning platform designed for applications requiring fine control over very short travel ranges. Utilizing closed-loop DC servo control on the X, Y, and Z axes, the LS-25 delivers smooth, accurate motion with micron-scale repeatability. Its adjustable trapezoidal motion profiles enable both rapid positioning and delicate adjustments, while electronic torque limiting and Hall-effect sensors provide dependable built-in protection.

With a 25 mm travel range and encoder resolution down to 5.0 nm (200 nm repeatability with linear encoder), the LS-25 offers high-resolution performance in a minimal footprint. Lead screw accuracy of up to 0.25 µm/mm ensures precise positioning, while maximum speeds up to 1.60 mm/s (fine pitch) provide efficient operation for detailed imaging and scanning tasks.

A variety of lead screw pitch options allows users to optimize for either speed or precision, from high-speed motion to enhanced nanoscale control. Combined with dual-range joystick operation, programmable motion patterns, and compatibility with simple serial commands or Micro-Manager, the LS-25 integrates easily into compact and automated systems without requiring proprietary software.
