About the LS-100HVY

The LS-100 Heavy Lift Stage (LS-100HVY) is a new model of stage based on ASI’s sub-micron accuracy LS linear stages. Designed for applications where speed and accuracy are needed for lifting heavy loads, a single LS-100HVY is capable of moving up to 10 kg with sub-micron accuracy at speeds up to 5.5 mm/s over a range of 100mm.

Configured with two LS-100-HVYs in tandem, weights of 20 kg can be lifted while maintaining speed and accuracy. With clamps to easily mount a breadboard between the two stages, a dual LS-100HVY system can easily lift entire microscope assemblies, very large samples, or whatever heavy lifting needs one might have.

As with all ASI motorized devices, the LS-100HVY can be controlled with simple serial commands or via micromanager; no proprietary software needed.
