LS-Series Linear Stages

ASI’s LS series of linear stages provide sub-micron accuracy, deriving their precise control by using closed-loop DC servomotors and employing high-resolution rotary encoders for positioning feedback. The stages utilize crossed-roller slides, precision lead-screws, and zero-backlash miniature geared DC servomotors for smooth and accurate motion with a resolution of 50 nm and a bi-directional repeatability of better than 500 nm rms. They can be used either vertically or horizontally, and can carry vertical loads up to 4.5 Kg (10 lbs), and horizontal loads of over 45Kg (100 lbs). Imperial, currently only in 1/4-20.
