The ZeroTrack system is an
integrated motion device consisting of a patented encoder, a crossed rollerbearing stage, a dual-motor drive system, and control electronics.
It provides point-to-point moves of just 5 nanometers. The move velocity is extremely smooth, and programmable in 0.01 mm/sec increments with a maximum speed of 250 mm/sec on some models. High accuracy encoder scales provide absolute accuracies to 0.1 micron.
It is very easy to use. Communication is via an RS232 port, or the device can follow pulse and direction inputs. Windows software is provided, as shown below:
