Slide Insert with Finger
Part Number SIF-100
The SIF-100 accepts most 75mm standard-width slides. The unit has a silver spring-loaded finger that holds the slide in place and is common to most standard microscope stages. The finger can easily be pulled back to install the slides which rest on top of the insert. The SIF-100 offers the advantage of versatility and ease of loading slides for screening large numbers of samples. However, because the slide sits nearly flush with the top of the stage, it may be difficult to raise the condenser close enough to the slide to obtain proper Kohler illumination. A condenser extender should be used with this insert to raise the condenser towards the slide.
Rotating Slide Insert
Part Numbers: SIR-100-25x75
& SIR-100-50x75
The SIR-100-25x75 accepts standard 25x75mm slides, and the SIR-100-50x75 accepts standard 50x75mm slides. Both units allow for a full 360 degree rotation of the slide. The units have a deep recession that place the slide about 6.3mm below the top of the stage. Because the slide is recessed towards the condenser, a condenser extender may not be needed in some applications. However, the recession does make slide loading more cumbersome, and some objectives may rub against the edge of the recession if the stage is not lowered before changing objectives.
High Rise Rotating Slide Insert

& SIR-HR-100-50x75
The SIR-HR-100-25x75 accepts standard 25x75mm slides, and the SIR-HR-100-50x75 accepts standard 50x75mm slides. Both units allow for a full 360 degree rotation of the slide. The units have much shallower recession that place the slide about 1.3mm below the top of the stage. Because the slide is recessed slightly towards the condenser, a condenser extender may not be needed in some applications. The High Rise insert is the only insert that will work with the Nikon E800 to allow proper Kolher illumination. The unit also works very well with a standard Zeiss condenser extender for the AxioPlan II.

SI-INV-100-Std
The SI-INV-100-Std accepts a single 1"x 3" (25x75mm) slide. The unit has a 1.5mm recession to lower the slide towards the objective. The SIS-100 offers the advantage of versatility and low cost.
SIR-INV-100
The SIR-INV-100 (Rotating Slide Insert) accepts a single 1"x 3" (25x75mm) slide. The unit has a 1.5mm recession to lower the slide towards the objective, and allow the slide to be rotated 360 degrees.
SI-INV-400
The SI-INV-400 accepts four 1"x 3" (25x75mm) slides. The slides can be easily loaded into the insert before installing it into the stage. Multiple inserts can be easily used in this manner to screen a large number of samples.
SI-INV-39mm
The SI-INV-39mm accepts a single round 35mm diameter petri dish. We also have a wide range of other sizes to fit nearly any petri dish or round insert:

The SI-INV-R39mm accepts a single round 35mm diameter petri dish, and can be rotated 360 degrees.

The SI-INV-HR has a milled-out bottom that allows Piezo objective holders to be easily used. It holds a single 1"x 3" (25x75mm) slide.
