ASI offers a wide range of custom shutter housing assemblies that can be mounted between the transmitted and reflected light sources and the objectives of your microscope. We have custom-designed a specific housing for each and every microscope that we support. By custom designing the housings, we can minimize adding distance to the light path, thus preventing vignetting and defocusing of the illumination source.
These shutter assemblies can be controlled by either of ASI's high-speed shutter controllers, the SC-2000 or the SH-2, with opening and closing speeds of around 8 milliseconds.
In addition to the above, ASI also offers a range of filter wheels (with built-in shutter options) and other devices for illumination and wavelength control.
