The PZ-2000 XYZ stage provides a high resolution, and highly repeatable, means of controlling the X, Y, and Z position of the microscope stage. The XY axes derive their precise control using closed-loop DC servomotors with built-in high-resolution encoders for positional feedback. The Z-axis is moved by a piezo element incorporated directly in the top plate. XY resolutions down to 20 nm and repeatability accuracies of less than 300 nm RMS (typical) can be obtained with optional linear encoded units compared to the standard rotary encoder's 800 nm (typical) repeatability rating. The Z-axis has nanometer resolution and accuracy, and a range of 100 µm. For more information, click here to visit its web page. |
