Cooke PixelFly CCD Cameras
Cooke PixelFly CCD Camera (lens not included)

There are three models of PixelFly available – the PixelFly VGA, the PixelFly HiRes and the PixelFly QE.

PixelFly

The PixelFly is a high performance digital 12-bit CCD camera system that features state-of-the-art CCD and electronics technology. The PixelFly QE model has an extraordinary quantum efficiency of up to 65%. The system consists of an ultra compact camera head which either connects to a Standard PCI or a Compact PCI board via a high speed serial data link. The available exposure times range from 5 µs to 65 seconds. Digital temperature compensation is integrated instead of a space-consuming thermo-electrical cooling unit. All camera functions can be remotely accessed and controlled via digital interface. This compact digital CCD camera system is perfectly suited for many scientific and industrial imaging applications like microscopy, spectroscopy, and quality control.

  • Ultra compact design
  • 12-bit dynamic range
  • High resolution (1376 x 1040 pixel)
  • Super quantum efficiency up to 65% with the QE model
  • Temperature compensated
  • Exposure times from 5 µs to 65 seconds
  • Readout noise typically 7 e‾ rms
  • Serial high-speed transfer up to 10 meters
  • Standard PCI or Compact PCI control board
  • Integreated front-end processor with opto-coupler input and highside driver
  • Free CamWare software and SDK included
