ASI's PZ-2000 Piezo-Z Stage

ASI's piezo-Z stages for inverted microscopes are now offered with three Z-axis travel range options:

100 microns
200 microns
350 microns

Piezo-Z stages for upright microscopes are available with 100 or 175 micron ranges. The stage's top plate is swiftly moved in the Z-axis via imbedded piezo elements with nanometer resolution.

These stages have been specifically designed to provide a high resolution, and highly repeatable, means of controlling the X, Y, and Z position of the microscope stage. The XY axes derive their precise control through the use of closed-loop DC servomotors employing high-resolution rotary encoders for positioning feedback.

Optional linear encoders improve XY repeatability to less than 300 nanometers.
