ASI's MS-2000 DC Servo motor control electronics employ the latest technology for precision motion control. By using the latest integrated circuit technology combined with ASI's proprietary firmware, the MS-2000 control electronics can deliver precise closed-loop control of nearly any DC servo motor at a supply voltage of 24 Vdc at 1 amp.

With a precision assemblies such as ASI's linear actuators and XY stages, the MS-2000 control electronics can deliver resolutions and repeatability specifications in the sub-micron range. By using our proprietary firmware that includes our own antibacklash algorithm, the MS-2000 can deliver resolutions below 50 nanometers with repeatability factors in the 800 nanometer range when using rotary encoders. By utilizing linear encoders that we have installed to our specifications, we can provide resolutions down to 20 nanometers with repeatability factors in the 300 nanometer range.

We offer standard units that provide three axis of motor control and accept standard TTL quadrature feedback signals from the encoders. We can also provide customize multi-axis control solutions including custom firmware for OEM applications. For microscopy and imaging applications an optional auto focus electronics module can be added that provides fast reliable auto focusing from a standard analog video signal.
