The DVC-1412 series is a high-resolution, high-sensitivity monochrome and color digital camera family utilizing unique megapixel 2/3" progressive scan interline CCD sensors. The CCD sensors have a particularly high QE, peaking in the Blue-Green spectrum, resulting in higher sensitivity for most applications.
The DVC-1412's compact and lightweight design is particularly well suited for coupling to precision optical instruments. The highly stable optical mount utilizes an adjustable C-mount coupling to provide critical system focusing adjustments.
The camera is supplied with the DVCView™ a Windows®-based software program for real-time viewing and image capture. DVCView™ includes an integrated camera control panel which encompasses all camera control functions, including variable ROI readout to provide faster frame rate without loss of resolution; 5 user programmable, single-click application controls; plus TWAIN and ImagePro® drivers to facilitate ease-of-use with popular imaging programs. The camera output and controls are interfaced to the computer via a single multipinned cable, which can be configured for LVDS, Camera Link™, or Firewire™ operation.
This camera is also available with an integrated gated Gen III intensifier tube fiber-optically coupled to the CCD, and is known as the DVC-1412 Intensicam model.
The Multi-Spectral 1214AM-MS is a modified monochrome version with a removable four-position filterwheel module, and is available in TE-cooled and Intensified versions as well. Contact ASI for more information.
